FOR SALE! Lots of Old School J. Crew!

IF ANYONE FROM POLYVORE reads this, please PLEASE know that many of us bloggers hate that you auto publish these sets/clipped items. I get that we can "uncheck" that we don't want the sets/clipped items published to our blogs, but often we just forget to do it or don't even think about it because the "uncheck" box is about the size of a tiny little piece of candy. Come on now, Polyvore, help your bloggy friends out already!

Any of you all in agreement with me?

Here is the offending set that was auto-published today ALL BECAUSE I WANTED TO edit the set because one of the items had sold. GRRRR!

Sophisticated Red, White, and Blue!

Sophisticated Red, White, and Blue!

Paisley Pencil Skirt--Thank you, J. Crew for doing it in red, white, and blue! You know you all want to call me MC dinagideon after I laid down that sick rhyme. ;)

Happy Independence Day!

I have a whole lot of festive looks to show off from this weekend, but most likely won't even be able to begin publishing all those looks until tomorrow! :) Turns out that if your birthday (and Canada Day--Happy 144!) falls on a Friday before a holiday weekend, and your Saturday and Sunday are full of pool runs and church, and your Independence Day Monday is full of restaurant going (yum, Cajun) and fireworks, blogging takes a big old backseat. LOL. At least it has been a blast.

So until then, enjoy yourselves, and be safe!

P.S. Boden babes, they introduced some extra stuff to the sale, including the Retro Shift (Happy Birthday from Mr. Johnnie himself...I like to think so!), so check out the sale selection if something you wanted wasn't there on Tuesday last week. :)

FOR SALE 06/06/11!

The Factory made a version of this, and in my recent "hunting," I found this exact dress in cotton.  Rather than immediately consign or ebay it, I wanted to offer it to my readers who may love this dress and are sad to have missed out on it.  Plus, it's cotton, so yay for a summer fabric, lol.  :)

FOR SALE 06/06/11!
E-mail dinagideon@aim.com or polyvore message for more info...

1. Boardwalk Shorts, Size 8, BRIGHT GREEN, NWT, $35 shipped. These run small, I sized UP to a 10 for the best fit.

2. COTTON FACTORY VERSION of the Chain Print Bateau Sweater Dress, Size Medium, EUC, $30 Shipped. I found this, and outside of it being cotton, it looks and fits exactly the same as my merino version (seen in this post: http://mysuperfluities.blogspot.com/2011/04/little-sweater-dressing.html). Good option for the summer, thought I would give my JCA friends a chance on it before I put it on ebay or consigned it.

3. Tie Front Dress, Knit Jersey Version, from Spring 2008, size medium, bright blue color, $20 shipped. I have it in my right size now, and was unwilling to let this fab dress go from my closet until I found the replacement  (It came in other colors, including this one in black, but I thought the bright blue was the prettiest). :)

Happy Shopping!

What I Have Been Doing Instead of What I Should Be Doing...

Okay, I know I have e-mails to send and comments to respond to and posts to publish, but when there is $2000 at stake ($1000 for the blogger who sponsors this contest and $1000 for the creator of the winning blogger's favorite set), then I have to say all things can take a back seat.

Interested in helping Fabulous Florida Mommy to BE THAT BLOGGER that wins the $1000? Check out her post on this contest for more information.

Above are the FIVE sets I have created for this contest. I actually have had a LOT of fun making these sets, and I love the items that FFM chose for this contest. It is nice to use REALLY high-end items for the sets...they look so luxurious and colorful and sophisticated.

You all have a great day, and I believe I can tear myself away from Polyvore to do another post today. LOL. :)

Stuff for Polyvore and Many Thanks!!!

First things first...the last three posts I have written have had some amazing and very sweet comments. Thank you very much, everyone. I am afraid that when I comment back it will be another set of one general comment first and then specific answers to any questions asked in the post.

Second...I AM OUTTA SCHOOL!!! Although I am teaching three weeks of summer school (to kindergarten...squee), I KNOW I will have WAY more time on my hands than I did before. Obvioulsy not a ton of time (still have two babies/toddlers), but still I know I will be able to keep up with this blog much better than the past month! So YAY!!!

Third...I get annoyed with Polyvore because it is REALLY HARD to find things. So I don't pull out my hair, I am just uploading a bunch of pics of shirts, pants, and skirts that I own. Some of these uploads are of me wearing them (mainly tops), some from ebay (of things I have bought), and some from J. Crew that for one reason or another I couldn't directly upload to Polyvore myself. Sigh.

So either enjoy my tops, pants, and skirts, or move onto another post because really these pics are all kind of boring. :) SMILE!

Oh, if you want to grab these items from Polyvore, I should have them in my items later today!

Boden is Bodacious!!!

I love Boden (the British clothing company that makes cute, quirky clothes for the whole family) so much that I went looking for a Polyvore group to join. And, guess what? There is none!!! Or I should say, there wasn't one!!! I went ahead and created a polyvore group entitled Boden is Bodacious!!! Join if you are in love with Boden as much as I am...only one rule for sets: they must include at least one Boden piece of clothing or accessory!

Here is my first polyvore:

Thanks for looking, and I hope you will think about making some Boden sets!!!
