  2. Wow! 38 just in medium? Funny...maybe they over-ordered in that size. Guess this post will be up for longer than I thought. LOL! :)

  4. Dina,
Every time I check your blog, I have a feeling that you are such a sweetie lady!
    Love the yellow on you.

  5. She is a sweet lady! What size did you get? Wondering what size I should get...

  6. Outfit of the Day: Blush! You are so sweet. BTW, I got the Melody dress and for all my stress about the size, the size 8 fits like a dream! YAY! So I guess I don't need to buy the tie-front (although I LOVE IT on you).

HeidiG: I got it in a medium but only for the length. The shoulders would fit you...the material is nice and stretchy and comfy. Love it! You look so good in yellow...definitely think about it! :)

  9. Oh really cute! Dang the shopping ban. Would you sz down in this? I normally have to get a XS in JC dresses. Maybe I will be able to find one in a "popback" later on in June. Would be perfect for the Texas heat.

  10. Hi, Dina! Well, as of 1:25AM on Wednesday morning (5/20), there's only 25 left!

...trying to hold off on buying anything as loooong as I can...

...(which will probably be another 12 hours or so)...

And yes, I, too, attest that Dina is one sweetie for sure. :)

  12. Honestly--Dina comes across on the Blog as one of the nicest people you could ever know...and sense of humour that can't be beat!
Luvee your blog...luvee the dress...but I have a similar one in BR I just bought...otherwise I might contemplate getting from you!
    Good luck!

  13. Kat: There is a navy version? That sounds PERFECT for HeidiG. HeidiG--get thee to ebay, stat! :)

I bet you get a ton of compliments, Kat!

Emily: I could wear a small in this dress, but then it would be cut closer to my body which would make it shorter. I would definitely say wait for a popback or go on ebay! Why the heck there are so many of these in medium is beyond me. Why not in large or extra-large? Hmm? The mind wanders...

Drewablank (speaking of super-sweet in real life): Did you hold out? Everything is 20% off if you spend more than 175!!! ;) You could always buy the dress and like five other small items and then return the five small items to get the 20%. Of course...it is up to you!

How is it hanging? I meant to tell you...I LOVED the awkward family photos blog...HILARIOUS!

HeidiG: AGH! I LOVE IT! You are going to rock that dress!

luvallthingsjcrew: Golly, you are so nice!!! I needed these sweet words from everyone today! I have a raging headache and I think the little sweetnesses from all you all have helped me feel better. THANK YOU!

How are you doing? I love yoga, so I know that you are probably great...I have found since starting yoga I am just a happier person overall! Am I right? Yoga is a help...or am I imagining it?

    Have a great day!

  20. HeidiG, you're too much. :p

I can't...I just stopped by the B&M at Georgetown and bought tons - 2 linen pleated lawn skirts (as gigiof ca said, for $19.99 - one dark mushroom and one shell!), a cashmere argyle vest ($39.99), a Featherweight cashmere argyle cardigan ($49.99) and 2 slub cotton ripple-ruffle short-sleeve tees (lavender and white, $9.99 each)! Shoot!

There were a couple of new items as well - there was a tank drop-waist dress with a tiered bottom. Fit was very weird, very straight. It was styled very nicely on the mannequin though - with a belt on the drop waist before the ruffles started; also an ombre v-neck shirt with beading and appliques similar to the older tees (that're only available in B&Ms).

  21. I tried on that dress! It was cute, just not so much on me. I actually have a dress review coming if I can get all the pics off my BlackBerry but am having issues with that. Sounds like you got quite a few nice things!!
