See, This Is What Happens When You Don't Sleep!

My darling daughter kept me up really, really late last night...late enough that I actually witnessed the J. Crew site updating their fall arrivals. Huh...less sleep? Well, okay...it just means that I spent a full hour clipping items for polyvore. Yeah, I know. This "grown-up paper dolls" obsession is a bit ridiculous.

But before I went to bed...at 1:20 am...I created this polyvore. I think I may have dreamed about Barney last night because of this...

Then, this morning, my brother assured me he would be here at 7 am for a workout. Which he wasn't. Ugh. We have been spending a lot of time at the gym lately (X-Sport Fitness--the location nearest us ROCKS--OMG, wow, there is always something there to keep you moving), so I fully anticipated him coming on time. You know the punch-line, right? Yeah, he isn't coming till later. ERGH and DOUBLE ERGH.

I can't waste time (well, in the sense that I always want to be DOING something while awake), so I created this polyvore just fifteen minutes ago. The colors are spectacular. You pick the shoes. :)

Oh, and my favorite piece from the roll-out? (Besides the tiered cami shown in both of my sets and the gorgeous necklaces from my sets?)

Well, the Liberty Ruffle Front Shirt that I pre-ordered way back in early July, of course. The question is...when will they send it?

Have a great morning, you all. Don't worry, I will take a nap today at some point...

Oh Dina! I am wasting most of my planning period sitting here and droooooling over the new roll-out! I am in love with the new purples. Did you see the Pilar dress? I thought of you when I saw it! I um...might have pulled the trigger on that one already...

How cool that you and bro are working out in the mornings (well, when he shows up!) I wish I was enough of a morning person to be able to workout before school, but alas, I love my sleep too much, and I'm just too tired when I get home from school.

Have a great day! :)

Wow - I stayed up last night too but you made it up waaay before me (I had to sleep in just a little this mornig to compensate!) Good luck with the morning workouts! I'm sure once you get into the swing of things you'll be going every day -- that's our plan too. :)

I love some of the new rollouts too! I was disappointed to see that they did not offer many blouses in petites however. Boo. I am loving some of their new jewelry and definitely their coats! How pretty!

ok, let's just say I'm totally pumped for Tysons on Sunday.

Love the Polyvores you created!! I only found 2 pieces from the new rollout that I really want. I hope the Tysons store has a good amount of inventory while we are there.... do you know if they'll give you the discount over the red phone if you have to order something?

Thanks for letting us know about the updates, I'm headed to jcrew.com right now!

Summer -- yes, you will get the discount for Sunday's Promotional event at Tyson's over the Red Phone. So, if there is something you want that is not there in your size or an accessory not in the store (Campo for me!) then you can order by Red Phone and get the 20%.

Dina - I actually just picked up the Ruffle-front Liberty Art perfect shirt, and I love it!!!! I know you will, too! :-)

As for the Silk tiered cami, I picked it up in the burgandy color, tried it on when I got home last night, and I HATED it!!! I don't even know where to begin... the tiers did not lay right for me, and made me look like I was 10 pounds heavier than I am! It could be because I am a shorty (at onlt 5' 1.5"). If you end up getting it, I hope you love it. :-)

It happened only once to me that the site updated right when I was browsing it very early in the morning (it was a huge sale update, not new arrivals) and boy, it was exciting!

I agree with Marietta on the fit of the ruffle tiered cami. I tried it yesterday and it was all wrong, not flattering at all (not exacly a pregnant looks but it added extra pounds for sure). I haven't tried everything but I tooks some pics and I will post later if I get to it.

AppGal: The Pilar dress is amazing...and would be a "have to have..." except for my incredible high internal temperature. I am always hot...even in winter...that said, if it does go on sale, I may consider it because I can see wearing it when it is cold, but maybe just a thin outer-layer, like the field jacket. My bro is awesome...he is actually teaching me how to weight-lift!

Rats on Parade: Yeah, I saw that you had announced it on the JCA. I was SO glad to have company.

GingerSnap: I know...since I started wearing their tops in petites (when I can), I am actively seeking them out on-line. It seems I have to try their pants on in-store, and then order tops on-line. Strange but it works for me. Hope you get some of the ones offered in petites!

HeidiG.: I saw your polyvore tonight. Did you print it? I printed mine, and I am planning on having the SAs work their tails off for me. :)

Ashley: Wait till you see my post on outerwear. I actually tried it on with shorts and then promptly took it off and hung it up...even in my air-conditioned house, it is way too warm to put on a whole outfit. That is why the post will only show my upper-body!

Summerilla: I hope that they give the discount over the red phone. I won't be ordering over the red phone as I have an offer from a personal shopper to shop on-line/phone with her and she will give me the 20% and free shipping. I really like the idea of working with an on-line personal shopper because I am so limited in how I can shop...

I am little frightened of the staff at Tysons (minus the one or two who have been nice to me in the past) especially after poor Patina's issues...so I hope the red phone is more amenable. :)

Zoe Moet: My pleasure. I usually let others announce the news, but well, time was on my hand, and I used it!

AnneG.: THANK YOU! I always am a few days behind in commenting back, so you helping summerilla out is awesome!

Marietta: I am so excited to receive both and see how they work. Those liberty print shirts are so great...they can work to pull so many looks together. Thanks for letting me know your initial thoughts...you have impeccable style and I know you wouldn't steer me in the wrong direction! :)

Ema: I saw it on you...and thought it looked nice, but I agree that your comfort is super-important...

Yes, the update is fun. I knew something was going on because the green screen kept appearing...and then, like magic, the new stuff appeared. I felt like a dork but I was thrilled to see it!
