Why Did This Not Exist When I Was in High School?

As some of you may know, I was obsessed with Don Henley in high school. Yes, I know, that is really, really weird. I spend HOURS, no WEEKS, no MONTHS, no YEARS thinking about how amazing he was...I truly believed he was the ultimate man. Eventually I stopped thinking about him (I will let you know later when I start my "Dina's Dramatic Diary" entries), but he was the light of my life for close to 3 years.

BTW, if you need to know anything (AT ALL) about Don Henley (especially his life between oh, his birth, and 1993--that is when my obsession petered out), I am your woman. I guess my only defense is that at least I wasn't into drugs, drinking, and other things...

So, had they had this (trust me, click on it) in high school, I would have purchased it, worn it everywhere, stared at it for hours, just loved it to death. So, I ask again, why did this not exist when I was in high school?

(And this is going to sound stupid, but there is a part of me, right now, that really wants this! WHAT? WHY? I have kids, I have a husband!!! What is wrong with me?)

Have a nice day...more to come later...

Holy cow, Dina!!

I.Can't.Stop.Lauging.

*catches breath to type*

If you weren't on your shopping ban...

But you know what, they probably did NOT have this when you were in high school, because the universe knew that you would not be able to concentrate at school, not have graduated, not have been able to get a good job, not have been able to meet Mr. Dina, not have had Rex and lil' CW, not have met all of us...I could go on...;)

So, better the bag show up now than back then...doncha think?

haha you are HILARIOUS! Wouldn't it be funny to hear about everyone's celebrity-crush obsession? I was obsessed with a certain member of a certain boy band. I won't name names...

Can't wait to read your diary entries. I've found some of mine from ELEMENTARY school (my 3rd grade teacher apparently made us keep journals so I made mine a "dear God" journal, but I did nothing but bad-talk my little brother in it...ha)

Oh.My.Goodness. I love it!! I am so excited for you diary entries. My friends and I have kept most of the notes we wrote to each other in high school and they're hilarious. I love how I thought I was so cool back then and now I realize that I was a huge dork. At least it was fun!

So funny! I have no idea who this person is, but must be someone worthwhile since he evoked such a devotion in you.:))) LOL!

Don Henley rocks! I saw him twice in concert and he was just amazing.... a truly talented individual. There certainly were worse things to become addicted to, other than Don.... so in my book you came out a winner! :-)

I think you should buy the purse, if only to lovingly gaze at every once in awhile.... :-)

I just love your honesty. What a great story! My celebrity-crush was Johnny Depp. Get that bag! I might get a bag with Johnny on it, just for the heck of it, if such a thing ever existed. I'd have to hide it from my dh, of course. As Slastena said, there's nothing wrong with a fantasy!

Hi all!

Okay--it is now VERY apparent that I need to find my diary and start posting the most outrageous entries. They are simply ridiculous!

I am glad I made you all laugh...that was my intention. :) So yay!

Drewablank: The scenario you painted for me of my life was scary...good thing it didn't exist is RIGHT! ;)

AppGal: Will you join me in penning for our blog readers the most silly of our diaries? Maybe with each entry we could also post pics of ourselves at that age! (I have some doozies from middle and high school!)

Kat: I kept my notes TOO! AGH! That would be almost as hilarious...esp. the love notes from my first love...the ones where he spends the entire note talking to me like I am an infant...schnookums, don't you wuv your little poo bear...etc. ;)

In regards to actually purchasing the bag...if it is still available after my shopping ban...I will get it. Yes, I will. Or maybe if it dissapears it means my dad bought it (he reads this blog and he thinks my teenage obsession is hilarious--after all he is the one who had to put up with it on a daily basis).
