There's a New Boy in Town...Johnnie B., I Think I Might Love You!

My tiny torso thinks Johnnie B.'s boyfriend cardigan would do just fine. Just fine. :)

I have known about this new incarnation at Boden for about two weeks now, but in some fit of ennui, or laziness, or just plain "I have a million things to do and there are not enough hours in the day," I did not blog about Johnnie B. BAD (self-proclaimed) Boden Aficionada. BAD!

Okay, so here's the deal...Johnnie B. is the "teen/junior" sized Boden off-shoot. I like to look at it as another opportunity for me to spend money frivolously (but always, always on some sort of discount). There is some cute stuff over there in Johnnie B. land.

The offerings are limited, but if you have a small enough frame to pull these styles off, I say "go for it." Heck, if the 13/14 size in mini-boden fits me on top (yeah, yeah, I don't just shop at crewcuts), then I have a suspicion that the medium in the Johnnie B. will be just perfect.

Another wonderful thing for you ladies of a smaller stature (and by smaller stature I mean petite 0s--yes, I have never known that size), Johnnie B. may have something for you! (As of now there are no petites in regular Boden, and their smallest size is a US size 2.)

So get thee to Johnnie B., all. And then come back and discuss. And eventually I will comment back. (Really I will!)

BTW, here is a preview pic of me for my next post. See! The Crystal devoté necklace can be pretty and isn't nearly as unattractive as you would think!!! :)

P.S. Mr. or Mrs. or Ms. Anon who said my torso is tiny? You are one of my new best friends. Thank you! ;)

Hey, if it fits...why not??? ;) I try to sneak into the boys department in thrift stores but always get weird stares...I must look too young to have a 10 year old son! lol!!

Love the necklace, that color is beautiful. I don't love the black one but this one is just perfect! Now I really really want it. I want this one to go on sale!

You are so very welcome! You do have a tiny torso...I mean to fit in crewcuts and Mini Boden you need to be small. I just thought as a Boden lover that you should check Johnnie B. out! By the way, I am new to your blog but I adore it. Really, I do.

Wow, $150 for a costume piece of jewelry that is very trendy. Don't think it looks worth it IMO but if it makes you happy....Wow. is all I can say...

Hey all! Happy Tuesday! :)

Johnnie B. only has a few pieces that I like but it is showing promise of some great things for the future. Within my budget I may grab a piece or two...

Speaking of budget...I did NOT pay FULL PRICE for the necklace I previewed (always, always remember my sweet readers I buy things only on some sort of discount). I purchased this in the last 20% off sale...which brought the price down to 120...which is a lot, but a lot less than 150! :) And since I wear jewelry of some sort every day, this is not going to sit fallow in my closet sobbing its pretty starburst eyes out that I am not wearing it! Hope that helps you understand my situation better, although honestly, I don't have to defend myself! This is my life, not yours, so there you go! :)

For those of you who want it, I say the black version will be around for A LONG TIME. The crystal version will probably make it to sale, but I bet that it sells quicker than the black version.

You all have a great afternoon! Cheers!

Really, Dina, you're the reason I'm coveting Boden right now! They should send you a crate full of free stuff for turning a bunch of us onto their pretty, pretty offerings!

Johnnie Boden, did you read what Amy Kelinda just wrote? Heehee. I will take a Plaited Strappy Dress top from the Johnnie B. line, an Amalfi dress in green, etc., etc. ;)

Thank you, Amy!!!

I don't think my wide shoulders would love Johnnie B...or that he would love my wide shoulders. So I will enjoy seeing you with the new fab line!
