#100 Post--A Very Special Thank You!!!

I wanted to reserve my 100th post as a post to thank all of you--my followers, my readers, and all those who have ever commented on my blog.

I started this blog thinking three people would be dad, my babysitter Roxie, and maybe one lady who found me through a comment I left on J. Crew Aficionada. Instead I sit here awe-struck at what this project has grown into. I have carefully spent this morning going through all of the comments left at this site and written down all the names (not including my followers). I have also made a list of all my followers. I would like to believe that I would have continued writing and posting if only three people were interested, but it does help to have a little push to continue...I really like knowing that in some tiny way I may be contributing to another person's life on a daily basis.

I have been raised, though, to be extremely GRATEFUL for any and all favors that are done for me. And I truly believe that anyone who has bothered to even look at this site is doing me a huge favor. And those of you who comment and follow, your contributions are like jewels...I feel so fortunate to have you in my life. So, without further ado, THANK YOU!

I have compiled two lists. The first one lists all of my followers. The second list lists all of the people who have commented. To save myself a bit of a challenge, I did not repeat the followers' names on the comment list...

Donna Hoffman
Snea (Roxie!)

Again...thank you for joining me on this blog of mine. I really look forward to the next 100 posts!!!

P.S.: I have a poll running right me decide how to pack for my trip to Florida for spring break. The trip to WV was such a success because I chose to stick to one color combo...and I want to do this for the trip south. So choose one if you will. I thought about the colors more last night and what I mean by the color teal is a light aqua blue (just in case you needed further clarification). Thank you for voting!!!

Thankyou for taking time out to be there for me. I am so inspired and humbled by the women on this site. I am grateful and blessed to be a part of this community. BTW, don't you own the jcrew sea treasures bracelet(my favorite summer bracelet)? Take it with you and work with the colors from the bracelet.

Hi Dina! You're such a great blogger and always so fun to read. I enjoy stopping by everyday so see what you're wearing and on some days you inspire me to put together a similar outfit! Congrats on #100! I can't wait for the next 100! :)

Have fun on your spring break! Mine has officially started and I'm heading off to sunny California where I can finally wear shorts and get a tan! woop!! Enjoy florida!!

Hooray for you! I so enjoy "stopping by" your blog each day, and this little community of bloggers has definitely become like a group of virtual friends.

Have a fantastic break and enjoy sunny Florida! Whatever color palette you choose will be fabulous I'm sure (I was between the white-yellow-teal & the khaki-red-teal combos--either way, I think teal screams "FABULOUS SUNNY GETAWAY!" :)

Congratulations on 100 posts! I have so much fun reading your blog. JCA blogs and readers really are a wonderful community to be a part of, aren't they? You come across as such a sweet, genuine person with a fun sense of style. Look forward to reading what you'll pick for the Florida getaway wardrobe! :)

Dina, how sweet of you to recognize event those who've (infrequently) commented on your site! I do enjoy these JCA blogs -- they can be as addicting as the clothes themselves. Yours is one of my favorites because your positive outlook on life comes through in your writings and I love how you combine colors! It's a fun & inspiring diversion to my day. You go, girl!

I love stopping by and reading your "superfluities"! It's also great to chat with a fellow Alexandrian.

Great idea for your "what to pack" poll! I am going to do that for my future trip (if I ever get one!).

I was torn between the khaki-pink-green (always appropriate in the land of Lilly Pulitzer) and the orange-deep pink-white (because I think those colors look fantastic on you) - ended up voting for the second. But I agree with AppGal: you will look fabulous no matter which you choose!

Can't wait to see pictures!

Lissa: Thank you...your blog is one of my daily joys, too!

KatyO.: Thank you so much!!! I look forward to #100 from you...

ina: I am so glad that you have a baby girl, too. I never knew that I would enjoy being a mom to a little girl this much...

I will definitely continue to include her in as many posts as possible!

shopaholicdiva1027: I could have never gotten this far or had this much fun without people conversing back with me...the blog has become its own being by the conversations that exist within its cyber-walls. Truly amazing!

I do not own the sea treasures bracelet...that is actually a stand-in for the sunset charm bracelet I own. Only recently did I find the sunset bracelet on polyvore (with slastena's help). But yours is a good idea...I do own the seychelles necklace which has the same colors.

Who knows what I will end up wearing, though...two of the categories are tied as we speak!!!

HeidiG: You will get to #100 in no time...and I will definitely look forward to it...and of course meeting you next week!

sparrowsandsparkles: Thank know I have a blast over at your site, too!!!

Beth: THANK YOU!!! Any 100th super-smart mommy tips in mind? Maybe your #100 can be about wine parties as a way to soothe the soul of mommies? :)

Ashley: You are my bright-colored kindred spirit...I love that you dare to be as bright as me...

Your mom is going to be so happy to have you home. Make sure you give her as many hugs for the amount of days you all have been apart!!!

AppGal: Your posts crack me up...I wonder what fodder you will have now that your student teacher is gone? I am sure you will find something!!!

This community is pretty awesome...I never imagined that I would ever be part of something like this.

Yep, teal/aqua is the color of the beautiful sea, so it does scream "sunny get-away."

A Bigger Closet: Thank you so much. I appreciate you doing outfits in real life, too. I think you and I have similar tastes in individual pieces but we style them very differently. Seeing what you come up with encourages me to step outside of my comfort zone and try something new.

Francesca: Awww, now I am blushing!!! Thank you so much. By the way, you saying I am positive is one of my life goals. I don't care if I seem a bit like Pollyanna, I believe that positivity gets you so much further than negativity any day!!!

Lexieloo: I am so happy to know you read my are such fun and have such great style...thank you!!!

FFM: Thank must be at what? 300+ posts? I should say "congratulations" to you!

3PP: You are so sweet...I love that we live so close but are even closer because of our respective sites!

I love that you almost voted khaki/green/pink because of Lilly!!! I love the designs, but her shifts hate me...always way too big on top and way too little on bottom. Sigh.

I love all the colors I chose, but boy, orange and pink are delightful...
